David's Gluten Free - Dairy Free - Chocolate Chip Cookie Brownie Combo (4 each)

Container Surprise and Disappointment

"I ordered your "Gluten-Free-Dairy Free-Chocolate Chip Cookie Brownie Combo (4 each)" and expected their container to be tin. The description didn't state the type of container (tin, box, crate, tray, etc. ), so I assumed it would be a tin. I've ordered David's Cookies since they were stand alone stores in NYC in the 1980s and always had a tin--never a cardboard "box"--the container I received with my order. So my concern is that this was not clearly stated or advertised. I called and spoke with a David's Cookies' representative on Thursday, August 6 (at 12:49pm PST), but the representative didn't seem too concerned, only to pass the my info on to someone else. So that is my only complaint, but one that would have played heavily when ordering. Thank you!"

"It is hard sometimes to find treats that are gluten and dairy free and also delicious. My son-in-law was very excited to receive the cookies and brownies. He was also excited that they were individually wrapped— perfect to take in his lunch to work."

Disappointed

"Way too sweet with no real distinction between the cookie and the chip; just overwhelming sugar. Leaves a fatty feel in my mouth after the sugar taste. 33 grams sugar!, 19 fat. I was hoping this would contain simple, clean ingredients but they use GMO soy, GMO corn, *margerine*, lots of palm oil, natural flavor? etc. . . No thanks."

Very disappointing

"I purchased the gluten free combo pack which included 4 cookies & 4 brownies. The cookies were very good. However, the brownies could not be eaten due to the content of salt. There were large chunks of salt throughout them. I've attached Pictures of two of them."
