3 On Your Side: Mail Order Foods
November 26, 2007, Philadelphia, CBS 3
From salmon to cheesecakes and everything in between, 3 On Your Side's Jim Donovan found there's a mail-order food gift for even the pickiest person in your family.
I ordered cookies for someone at work and they loved them. I recently then ordered a gift for my husband. He raved about the cookies and said they are like good homemade cookies. He has been enjoying this treat for over a week now, and I just felt I wanted to write a note to your company. Great cookies, will order again and will try some of your other treats. Thanks for making a great product.

Hi, I just wanted to say thank you!! I took a chance ordering cookies from you for a Christmas gift as I never heard of your company but the recipient said they were delicious! they were gone in three days! I actually had them delivered to her son to be sure she would get them, and he opened them and tried them! before she even got them!! lol!! he said they were great and she almost didn't get them!!! The delivery came just as you said it would timewise which made that even great! so thanks for a great product and service. I requested your catalog and can't wait to see it. have a nice new year!

I have tell you.. I am so glad I found you! My daughter went away to college last year, so my search for a bakery to send her birthday cakes was on. She received the chocolate fudge cake on Thursday oct 25 that I ordered from you, just on wednesday!!! It was such a big hit with her sorority. She saved me a slice when I saw her two days later, it was absolutely the best cake I have ever had! still so moist and perfect . Word spread quickly through the house and I am sure you will be added to the list of many of the 'moms' of the girls in the house. some things are worth writing about. your service and quality is definitely one of them, just wanted you to know, and to say 'Thankyou'. I am spreading the word. My search has ended, you will hear from me again. sincerely, Debbie White.

Just wanted to thank you and David's Cookies for following our request to the letter! As it turned out, my son decided to come home for the NCAA Big East Tournament at the Meadowlands this weekend, and he said he was coming late Wednesday. I explained that we had sent his favorite dessert as a birthday surprise and requested that it be delivered on the 21st (his birthday is today, the 22nd). As you know, on big campuses, even if the company follows delivery requests, things sometimes go astray in the mailroom, and delivery isn't always timely. We took the raspberry tart as a loss, figuring it would not be good to eat after four days, but, all the same, we were happy my son would be home for his birthday. Thanks to your beautiful packing job, and your timely delivery, however, the campus mailroom let Mike know immediately that a perishable package had been received for him, and they even kept it up front instead of off somewhere far, and he was able to get it before he left for the train station. When we picked him up late last night at Penn Station, he was all smiles, and was carrying the raspberry tart! We will continue to use your company in the future, especially if you continue to stock one of all time favorites - the raspberry almond tart! Thank you - you are a wonderful company, and you made my son's 20th.

Best Cookies ever! I can't believe how much these Snickerdoodle cookies taste like how my mother used to make them and the chocolate chunk cookies are the greatest!

Got Cookies? You can bet David does. Wow, these are the best cookies I have ever tasted. My associates at work stand by the mail room door and the beginning of each month, not for paychecks, they're waiting for the cookie delivery! The cookies are loaded with chips, coconut, nuts, fruit etc. Always fresh. I have served these for dessert after a formal dinner party. My guests tell me the cookies are better than a heavy cheesecake or a fancy ice cream cake. I'll be ordering again, for sure!

The David's Cookie Jar is the cutest thing! Looks great on my all black kitchen counter top. Looks great on any color counter top, or in any color kitchen. Your kitchen has &quo;style&quo; with this lovely, unusual, cookie jar.

I LOVE your brownies and crumb cakes!! They are the best I've ever eaten and have been one of the most loved gifts I have ever given. I do not believe you could bake these terrific treats yourself to taste better. The selection is wonderful and you'll be hard pressed to select a favorite. They freeze well too without losing any flavor. A great buy! Try them! You won't be sorry.

My son Jeremy Horsley in Sacremento Calif, called me to rave about the cake we had sent for his birthday. He said is was perfectly and securely packaged, delivered fully itact, was delicious etc. As Jeremy has been a manager for both UPS and now Fedex Ground for many years, he is very observant when it comes to packing etc. He was thrilled with both the quality of the cake and the packing as well. We thank you SO much....
